Since 2006, we have actively collaborated with co-operative projects in different parts of the world. 2005 marked the first multicultural event in chez-spice, that was the starting point to raise funds to support these projects. We have proceeded with enthusiasm and excitement, with these ingredients and your help, all is possible.
During the period 2006-07 , Chez Spice built a health center in the Community Day Mak in Paraguay and made a number of collaborations with the Dance School of the City and the construction of a drinking water well .
In 2008 , we focused on Mozambique , particularly in Inhambane, hometown of Piyush . The project involved the reconstruction of the existing orphanage and to promote the improvement and quality of life of the children there. We encouraged new forms of education and relationships with the kids. We renewed every bed , the ceiling has been renovated , we created a room for the volunteers and installed a porch on the patio so the children could play in the shade .
In 2010 the construction of a sensory room for children with disabilities has finally been completed. The room is aimed at enhancing the capabilities and to improve sensory motor skills and create an educational space . To do this Chez-Spice has been supported by Mike Ayres , an international specialist in the manufacture and design of sensory rooms and the collaboration of the Ministry of Education and Health Mozambique.
